ArenaNet gives another update on Guild Wars 2 performance issues

In a post to the ArenNet forums, the team would like to gladly let players know that server lag has been significantly reduced in Guild Wars 2 since their December 15 patch which aimed to reduce the severity of performance issues faced by many gamers.

Hi again everyone, we have another update for you! We released an update on December 15th and watched the results. Since this update, we’ve seen a significant and consistent reduction in server-side lag. Thanks to everyone who helped us using the in-game reporting system. We are continuing our efforts to improve your gaming performance. So please continue to report if you experience performance issues.

The team first announced that they would be looking into performance issues in August 2020. If there’s one thing you need to give credit to ArenaNet for, it’s that they are consistent across the board. their search for a solution to ongoing performance issues. We hope to see these issues addressed before End of the dragons released later this year.
