A traumatising horror sequel is scaring fans out of movie theatres around Australia.
Two people fainted and fled for the exit as controversial Terrifier 3 hit Australian cinemas for early previews over the weekend.
According to multiple eye witness accounts, one young woman badly injured herself after she fell down the cinema stairs while fleeing the movie theatre.
'This is going to sound made up and I promise you it's not,' Australian horror film critic Emma Clarke began her review of David Leone's controversial new horror-slasher.
The Rotten Tomatoes verified critic said two people fainted right in front of her during the screening she attended at Innaloo Cinemas inPerthover the weekend.
The first fainted during the opening scene, she said in her film review shared to YouTube, and the second nearer to the end of the two-house spectacle.
'Can you tell me... why did two people feint right in front of me during that film?' she said.
'Both trying to run down the stairs to get to the bathrooms because they felt so queasy.'

The horror film fanatic said she spoke to both people and tried to assist them because she was seated directly behind them.
The first was a man, who left with a friend who came to check on him, and second Australian victim was a young woman.
'This poor girl gashed her head open as she fell down the stairs, I felt so bad for her. I went and checked on her afterwards,' Clarke claimed.
'She did get help. She was with her friend. It really shook me up too. It actually took me out of the film for the moment.'
The reviewer, who has been sharing her thoughts on scary movies for the past four years, said she has never seen audience members have such a visceral reaction to a film.
Clarke described the third installment of Leone's series — which is set to opennationally on Thursday, October 11— as 'fun, intense, gory, disturbed, and over the top.'
'I'm not used to horror actually hurting people, so that was a really strange experience,' she said.
'Before anyone says they're paid actors, I saw the girl and she had injuries. They were both very young people. I feel really awful about it to be honest.'
'It was a very scary moment trying to help them out.'
A second person who attended the same screening also tweeted about witnessing the people run and fall.
Clarke said that while both people people are fine now, other moviegoers who were sitting near to her, also saw the young people pass out and did not step up to assist.
'Both times I was the only person right there. If you do see someone faint at the cinema, get up and help them, my gosh,' she added.
Director David Leone has revealed that he received pushback from Hollywood due to the severe nature of his horror-slasher sequel
It comes after 11 people walked out of the horror within the first 10 minutes of the film during its UK premiere last week, with one confirmed to have vomited.
Meanwhile inFrance, minors under 18 years of age have been banned from seeing the film in theatres entirely.
The film's 'insane' opening scene alone led to nine people walking out of the Vue in Leiscester Square, London, with one person reportedly throwing up during the first few minutes and another having a panic attack following another scene.
It reportedly shows a family being murdered in a number of brutal ways by the demonic killer Art The Clown, although Leone has insisted this is 'not even the big kill scene' of the film.
Leone claimed to have 'personally' witnessed 'some crazy stuff' at the UK premiere, where brazen moviegoers were provided with sick bags.
Some cinemas have also printed warning notices cautioning viewers about the 'extreme violence and excessive gore', with 'staff trained in first aid' also on hand to help anyone who might be 'feeling unwell' during the film.

Leone told Bloody Disgusting on Thursday, the day after the screening: 'Although I was in and out of the screening, I did manage to witness some crazy stuff.
'One woman got up and left in the middle of the shower massacre.
'Another woman left the screening and said she started having a panic attack during a scene involving kids where Art (the film's villain) impersonates a mall Santa.'
Leone revealed that when he hit up Hollywood to fund the anticipated sequel, he received pushback from some major studios due to the film's extreme violence.
'I got to meet with studios, like legit Hollywood studios, who wanted to make Terrifier 3,' he told JoBlo last year.
'But before I even had a script, just based on the success of part 2, and just having meetings and getting the feel that I was going to have eyes over my shoulders, and they were concerned about the levels of gore and this and that,' he continued.
'I knew, and not having seen my script or have any idea what I had in mind, I knew they weren't going to let me make this movie based on the first five pages. Like that's how insane Terrifier 3 is.'
He continued: 'So mark my words, I guarantee you the first five minutes of this movie is going to be very controversial. But that's not even the big kill scene.
'So like that's why I was like, I need to just make this movie on my own, because it's just too… it's too insane.'
It has been reported that 11 people walked out of a recent screening in the UK, while one unlucky fan threw up
'That s*** was scary but it was good - I'm a little traumatized,' said one shocked fan after seeing the film for the first time
The third installment of the horror franchise is set during Christmas
A promotional video capturing audience reactions to the movie was released byBloody Disgusting this week, with one fan saying, 'It was definitely a lot.'
'That s*** was scary but it was good - I'm a little traumatised,' says another, while one adds, 'It's disgusting.'
'It was depraved. So many people walked out,' said another woman.
The Terrifier franchise tells the story of Art The Clown, a demonic killer who terrorises the residents of Miles County, New York.
The third film sees Art go on a murderous rampage at Christmas.
It apparently features a scene so horrific that actor David Howard Thornton, who plays Art, almost vomited on set during filming.
The first Terrifier, made on a tiny budget of just $60,000, was released in 2016.
The movie went viral after its release due to one particularly horrifying death scene, which involved somebody being mutilated with a hacksaw.
