Epic Seven, the popular PvP gacha game from Smilegate Megaport, is having a huge tournament with a cash prize, starting this month.

The Epic Seven World Arena Championship kicked off on April 17 and lasts until 8 p.m. PDT on May 29, when the final will be held. The winner will take home the lion’s share of an incredible $ 50,000 prize.

In case you aren’t familiar with the game, Epic Seven is a gacha-RPG featuring a variety of collectible heroes, Guild Wars, PvP battles, and some truly dazzling skill animations.

Combining accessibility and depth, the gameplay allows you to manipulate the heroes’ turn orders, develop strategies, manage hero abilities, and generally get involved in more combat details and character upgrades than you do. You might be used to a free mobile RPG.

There are 16 different equipment sets, all with unique bonus stats, while a variety of artifacts give your heroes their own unique identities. The huge amount of customization in the game means that your version of any given hero will be different from everyone else’s.

This makes Epic Seven the perfect PvP RPG for esports – hence the Arena World Championship.

In each battle of the tournament, you will not only be able to choose your own heroes, but also strategically ban some of your opponents’ choices.

It will start with 16 players, chosen from four different servers: Global, Asia, Europe, and Korea. This means that there have been 64 players in the mix as of April 17th.

After that, there will be a first round on April 24, a second round on May 8, and a final on May 29. All matches will be played at 8 p.m. PDT.

Of course, only the best of the best will be able to participate in the tournament. Fortunately, Smilegate Megaport is having a special event for everyone. Starting April 21, players will be able to choose the winners and win prizes.
