Guild Wars 2 Drops Legendary Armory and the Twisted Puppet in Today’s Update
ArenaNet has released the long-awaited Legendary Arsenal Update for Guild Wars 2, as well as the twisted puppet with today’s update.
The major update that’s sure to catch the interest of many players is the Legendary Armory. This effectively makes your characters’ legendary items more account-bound, allowing players to share those legendaries between each of their characters. Players are still limited to the amount of the same type of Legendary that they might normally only have in their love, but this allows players to ensure that they don’t need to transfer these items manually now.
The Armory will start to fill up once you log into each of your characters on your account, and this will only apply to Linked Legendaries. Unbound Legendary items will still be tradable, according to the patch notes, meaning that if you hold onto something until you’ve completed that trade negotiation, you don’t have to worry about it disappearing with the update.
Also today arrives the Twisted Puppet, a former patron of Guild Wars 2 past. Players will be able to face off against the Twisted Puppet in a new battle available through the Vision Pool in the Eye of the North. The encounter has been updated according to ArenaNet, bringing a new challenge even to those who remember his anger years ago.
You can view the full notes for update today on the official website. Guild Wars 2 recently announced that their upcoming expansion, End of the dragons, was delayed until 2022, although enthusiastic gamers can still look forward to their first glimpse of the MMO expansion on July 27.
