The Guild Wars 2 Icebrood Saga Coming To End At The End Of April
The final chapter in the Guild Wars 2 Icebrood saga now has an official title and release date. Dubbed “Judgment,” the conclusion to the last 18 months of Guild Wars history will arrive free to all players on April 27.
“With the prophecy-born ally Braham poised to face his fate, two of Tyria’s greatest and most enigmatic threats emerge to fight in a clash of supremacy over the control of the world’s magic.” , we read in the ArenaNet teaser for the new content. “Players will be pushed between these two forces of nature to stop the conflict by any means necessary, and no one will come out unscathed.”
The story of Judgment promises a clash between two ancient dragons potentially ending the world, an apocalyptic threat players must stop at all costs. Like other game content updates, however, it also comes with a whole bunch of new rewards and loot, most of it dragon-themed.
Once the update is complete, players will be able to maximize Dragon Slayer mastery and earn dragon-themed items such as a new cloak, dragon eye infusion, great sword skin, and new minis. resembling dragons.
The Chapter’s new world boss promises to be epic, with players able to take on the challenge either in a private squad version for up to 50 friends and guild mates, or in a public version for up to 80 players who will become available every two hours.
Following the fall of Judgment, Guild Wars 2 has more new content lined up for 2021, with a new expansion called End of Dragons slated to launch this year.
