Guild Wars 2 update brings weirdest Springer skin yet
ArenaNet has updated Guild Wars 2 with regular updates to Gem Store related items and added new cosmetics, such as the Woodland Sprite Springer skin.
The mounts in Guild Wars 2 are somewhat strange on their own as they generally look like the fusion of two different animals that we’re used to seeing in the real world. For example, the Springer contains elements of rabbits and kangaroos, but while it’s odd, its cosmetics give it a boost.
So far, it was the Mad Realm skin for Springers that took home the cake for the weirder, which is very much in line with the brand for something about the Mad King theme and the associated celebrations.
ArenaNet likely beat the weirdness of this skin on January 5, 2021, when they released the Woodland Sprite skin for the Springer, which has some more or less inexplicably disturbing features. You can see this strange creation in the image above.
Besides the weird marsupial-like skin for the Nerve Mount, GW2 players should also be aware of the changes to other cosmetic related items. Black Lion Chests will now contain a Mastery Draft that will increase the player’s Mastery on the currently chosen track. Keep in mind that the availability of tracks also depends on your current location.
Plus, the Guaranteed Wardrobe Unlock has been updated with the latest additions, so if you’ve been waiting for them, maybe it’s time to use the unlocks.
also added a Tempest Gaze helmet skin which can glow a bit too much for the safety of those around you.
