New world: can casual gamers enjoy the MMORPG?
Amazon Games recently released New World on PC, but is MMORPG a game casual gamers can enjoy?
The company is hoping the title becomes a big hit in the genre, as some high-profile flops over the past two years have damaged the publisher’s reputation, such as Crucible.
With the release of such an important new title, casual fans may wonder if this is something they want to get into.
Early reviews of the game have been mostly positive, with praise for the “stellar” combat, the fascinating world of the game, the in-depth loot system, and the promise of lots and lots of post-game content from Amazon Games.
Whether the game will appeal to fans of the MMORPG genre remains to be seen, but it looks like the game has got off to a good start.
