10 characters confirmed and most likely to appear in Boba Fett’s book

Boba Fett’s book The trailer confirmed the return of perhaps the most obvious characters from the upcoming Disney + streaming series, but beyond Boba Fett and Fennec Shand, the cast remains a mystery. The trailer gave some intriguing clues to characters who might appear, including some major cast from the Star wars universe.
Boba Fett’s forays into the criminal world of a galaxy far, far away are likely to put him in contact with important personalities in this space. Some of them are well known to movie fans, as are the heroes who might very well appear to be trying to put an end to Fett’s expanding empire.
Confirmed: Boba Fett
Boba Fett is obviously the star of the show, but the trailer still provided fans with a lot of information about the bounty hunter that they didn’t have before. Boba Fett now pursues a more diplomatic angle with his criminal allies and enemies, at least to begin with. He advocates cooperation rather than conflict. This villain Star wars fan love is now maybe a hero, of sorts.
The trailer also confirms that Boba Fett has changed since fans last saw him in The Mandalorian. His scars healed and his eyebrows grew back. His repainted armor is now scuffed and damaged after a few nasty encounters.
Confirmed: Fennec Shand
The other major character who has been confirmed to appear is bounty hunter Fennec Shand. Although this was suggested by his accompaniment of Boba Fett to Jabba’s Palace, the trailer confirms that Shand is not only Fett’s executor, but his main intermediary. Shand fights alongside Fett against a number of enemies in the trailer and also speaks on his behalf.
Shand threatens a number of former Jabba The Hutt captains with being fed at “the menagerie” when they don’t seem to accept Fett’s offer. His threat appears to be as effective as his blasters.
Confirmed: Jennifer Beals Twi’Lek
One of the trailer’s biggest confirmations still retains a lot of mystery. Jennifer Beals surprised fans by appearing as Twi’lek in the trailer in one brief shot. While her role remains a mystery at this point, a likely possibility is that she is somehow linked to Jabba The Hutt’s criminal enterprise.
She could also be a freelance operator. It’s just as likely, given that her dress and jewelry looks more ornate than the other Twi’leks who have appeared in the movies, at least those associated with Jabba.
Most Likely to Appear: Cobb Vanth
Cobb Vanth is likely to appear in the next series as he is closely related to Boba Fett through his armor. Vanth wore the armor for a while after finding it, and Boba Fett may have some unfinished business with it. As Marshal of his colony on Tatooine, Vanth might have trouble with Fett’s new criminal activities.
Cobb Vanth might be an underrated or overrated character for fans depending on their perspective, but he’s likely to be a recurring one given that the show will be set in part on Tatooine.
Most likely to appear: a grudge
One of the more intriguing elements of the trailer was Fennec Shand’s reference to Jabba The Hutt’s menagerie. The word suggests that Jabba employed more than the Rancor to engulf his enemies. He could have had more than one, which means a Rancor is likely to appear in the new series.
In fact, Boba Fett might even feed his enemies to a Rancor that fans saw. Muchi appeared as a Rancor Child in The bad lot, but by the time of the new series, would be one of the biggest creature threats in Star Wars.
Most Likely to Appear: The Mandalorian
As fans anxiously await season three of The Mandalorian, they will probably have the chance to see Din Djarin in Boba Fett’s book. The Bounty Hunter probably won’t play a major role, but without Grogu he could revert to his old ways of working with the Guild. This could potentially tie him to Boba Fett if he employs his own bounty hunters.
Din Djarin working for Boba Fett, or perhaps even against him, could also serve as connective tissue in season three of his series, which is now filming for a slated 2022 release date.
Most Likely to Appear: Bossk
Many bounty hunters are likely to appear in the series and one of the most likely is Bossk. The iconic Trandoshan bounty hunter who first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back has been closely linked with Boba Fett from the start. With the appearance of other Trandoshans in the trailer, this is further proof that Bossk could appear.
Bossk could either be hired by other criminal groups to take on Boba Fett, or Fett could bring him into the fold to work for him. The two have worked together before, most notably in a season two arc of the Clone wars.
Most likely to appear: Qi’ra
The War Of The Bounty Hunters comic crossover recently revealed that Qi’ra briefly stole a frozen Han Solo from Boba Fett on his way to Jabba The Hutt. With Crimson Dawn certainly going to be a major criminal organization around the time of the series, this series could be a place where Qi’ra then appears in live-action.
There is already evidence that this could be the case. In the trailer, Boba Fett and Fennec Shand take on a number of purple-clad attackers who all use red energy shields. They could possibly be connected to Crimson Dawn.
Most Likely to Appear: Luke Skywalker
As Boba Fett consolidates power, he is likely to attract the attention of authorities. That could very well put him in conflict with Luke Skywalker, whom he narrowly missed in the season two finale of The Mandalorian. Luke could return to Tatooine if he hears Boba Fett’s name reappear in the underworld.
Boba Fett could also get revenge on Luke Skywalker for his role in his ordeal in the Sarlaac pit. This could lead to some interesting places, as Boba could also seek revenge on Han Solo.
Most likely to appear: Grogu
If Luke Skywalker appears in Boba Fett’s book, then there’s a good chance that Grogu will appear as well. Luke left with Grogu as a new apprentice at the end of The Mandalorian, and if Luke appears in any capacity, chances are Grogu will as well.
The appearing pair can be a good touchstone for their journey ahead of season three. Grogu is unlikely to play a major role in the series, but a cameo could set fans back while waiting for his story to continue in its entirety.
