Razer announces the Enki Pro – the high-end successor to its line of all-day gaming chairs
Building on the success of the Enki in 2021, Razer has announced the release of the Enki Pro – the ultimate edition of its chair designed for all-day gaming sessions. Here’s what we know so far:
The Enki Pro carries over all the features of the original – the ultra-wide seat base (21″), the degree of curve (110 degrees) and even the recline distance, but the similarities start to wander in the game. premium stuff from there.
The Enki Pro will feature a magnetic memory foam head cushion (as opposed to the elastic strap version found in the base model), a dual-density engineered cushion integrated into the backrest, and an upholstery redesign.
Rather than synthetic leather as the main material, the Enki Pro will use another synthetic material known as Alcantara – a suede-like microfiber that is designed to be incredibly durable, comfortable and stain resistant. For those wondering, Alcantara has been used in everything from Louis Vuitton bags to Microsoft’s Surface keyboard to the lining of SpaceX’s Crew Dragon capsule. Really versatile stuff!
At the moment, these are the notable differences between the Enki and the Enki Pro apart from the price. Upon release, the Razer Enki Pro will be available on Razer.com for US$999.
