Runescape, the massive MMORPG from British studio Jagex, is gearing up for its biggest boss battle yet, with the Twilight of the Gods quest.

Starting today, players in the iconic kingdom of Gielinor can experience an epic new adventure with the new Twighlight of the Gods quest. Bridging the gap between Elder God Wars and the upcoming Zamorak boss battle, this new questline will help players sharpen their blades before facing the Lord of Chaos. With at least some time before the final showdown against this monstrous foe, players taking on Runescape’s latest adventure will find themselves embroiled in a lore-laden quest, here they will explore several key locations and solve a variety of puzzles to find a cure for a mysterious demonic disease.

Along the way, there are some key things that will help improve the population of Runescapes ahead of the aforementioned challenge. Anyone who succeeds will be rewarded with five Zamorak Reroll Tokens – which will also be available as drops from Elder God Wars dungeon bosses – as well as a special item that will provide 10% damage reduction against the Dark Lord in battle. .

This essential damage reduction element is not all that adventurers can expect. There’s also a cosmetic transmog item that turns players into an abyssal form, as well as experience lamps for magic and divination.
